Word for the Word

This week we had a huge task presented to our team.  Take six 45 minute weekend messages and cut them down to scripts for much more conversational 15 minute small group videos.  Sounds easy right.
What would you start with?  MP3 of the weekend or maybe even a video?  How about the Pastor’s notes?
All of those could be helpful, but what if you had every one of the approximately 7,500 words spoken in a 23 page script.  You would know that if 7500 words equals 45 minutes then 2500 words or 7 pages would equal 15 minutes. Better place to start isn’t it?

Do you transcribe your weekend messages? You should.

We started about 6 months ago making it a preactice to do so and so when this project was given to us this weekend we were ready to roll.
