I have been trying out a new method of connecting with God through prayer and reading scripture called Examen.me that is a fresh fire to my time with God.
They explain themselves best….

    This looks good. We’re starting a time of personal prayer and reflection at N. Charleston Dream Center May 1st, 7pm to 11pm. We will hold it the first Monday of every month. When I was a missionary in Nigeria, every Friday night from 7pm to 7am we had all night prayer. My relationship with the Lord grew by leaps and bounds. Too often we get on our face with the Lord and tell Him what we have on our hearts and then hang up. We don’t allow Him equal time to minister to us. Please keep this prayer meeting in your prayers for a breakthrough in prayer life for The Dream Center.

    Thanks Shawn. It is our prayer that EXAMEN.me would spark a fire in the devotional lives of all those who use the tool. When we take the time to stop and let the word speak into our lives we can’t help but to become more like Christ.
