Just a quick look at the speaker line up for the 2009 National Outreach Convention made me start singing the old Sesame Street tune, “One of these things is not like the other…” That would be because I saw my name on THIS LIST…In addition to my senior Pastor Greg Surratt and ministries Pastor Geoff Surratt I want to take just a minute to let you know about a few great people on this list I know personally that will rock your world on November 4-6 in San Diego. Yes, that is correct, San Diego.

Anne Jackson is a friend of mine. She is an author, a speaker and a blog queen. As blog queen, she has changed the way we blog. As a speaker she brings a wealth of knowledge with such a humble sprit, and as an author, well, she just has mad skills. She will share from her heart and it will touch your heart.

Dave Ferguson is one of my leadership heroes, as well as a friend. I got the chance to meet Dave about six years ago and every time I hear him I am challenged, motivated, inspired and re-fueled for ministry multiplication. There is a saying that goes like this, “It is amazing how much can be accomplished if no one cares who gets the credit”. Dave absolutely lives this statement in his leadership and his desire to see multiplication in churches and networks. He is a serial innovator and you will be too if you will follow him.

I just like hanging out with Dino Rizo. I am glad to count him as a friend. He is an unbelievable speaker who is drinking the Kool-Aid he is peddling from a water-hose. Pastor Dino lives a Servolution 24/7/365 and has taught the people of Healing Place and hundreds of other churches to do the same. He also is about as funny as a Christian can be without cussing, so that is worth the price of admission alone.

Last but certainly not least is my good friend Steven Furtick. Steven and I grew up in the same small town where as a youth minister I saw and heard about a young guy with an amazing amount of passion and energy that was leading people to Christ. Steven got a vision from God for his life and has been running hard toward that ever since. It has been fun to watch it up close. I promise that God will rock your world when He speaks through Steven. In leading Elevation Church to be “on the map” he has not lost an ounce of the honor and humility that I have seen in him for the last dozen years. Steven is also the most fashionable speaker at NOC this year for sure…he is just a hip dude.

You seriously could fly all the way to San Diego, lay in the sun a lot, only see one of these four speakers and you should leave a tip at the door for the folks at NOC09. But what is crazy is there are 45 more speakers who are all just as great. So between San Diego and this line up of speakers, I think that just settles it completely. Go and start registering now.
